DREAMS OF ELECTRIC SHEEP I
What is real and what is fake? Where does reality end and virtuality begin? What do the concepts of truth and reality mean in our digital world? The dystopian first part of the DREAMS OF ELECTRIC SHEEP festival at Radialsystem, Berlin, explores these and other questions, finding more than just musical answers. The Marc Sinan Company and friends take a critical look at “fake news” and examines the possible psychological consequences of digital overload.

Premiere: CIRCLED EXISTENCE
The Neue Vocalsolisten is a group of seven outstanding voices that form one of the leading ensembles for contemporary music and music theater. Together with guitarist Marc Sinan, they are presenting the latest work by Oscar Bianchi. How does the internet affect our souls? Circled Existence is the darkly shimmering musical answer by the award-winning composer.

Talk show: #WTF3000
#WTF3000 (WhatTheFact3000) is the show we’ve always dreamed of. Wild music meets fake videos meets cats and rabbits – they’re the hosts of the evening. Nataly Bleuel is front and center with Martina Weisband, formerly of the Pirate party, Anke Domscheit-Berg of Die Linke, Dr. Theresa Züger of the Humboldt Intstitute for Internet and Society, Lian Mallinger of the initiative #ichbinhier and Metja Meded get to the bottom of crucial issues of our digitally driven, socially mediated present:
How can we escape the capitalized affect machine? How can we attain democracy and oversight and keep a cool head in our wonderfully complex world? How can we stay free and decent without going mad?
The Marc Sinan Company will provide the musical soundtrack along with special guest Paul Frick, and Tobias Rausch will serve as director.
7+8 December 2018
Workshops: FactChecking
In addition to the evening performances, younger adults and Silver Surfers (70+) can team up for a fact-checking workshop. With help from representatives of the Nemetschek Foundation, they will perform small interventions for the theatrical talk show taking place on the second day of the festival. Players can test their knowlege online under the hashtag #WhatTheFact. Participants will put their assumptions to the test and develop their own questions for an interactive quiz with the audience.
